We are pleased to confirm that all outstanding ARG applications have now been verified. This means that approved applications from businesses outside of the priority criteria will be paid this week, with money expected to arrive in business bank accounts by Wednesday 10 March.
In total we have approved 1,385 ARG applications, paying over £3.4million in grants to Plymouth businesses.
We are also working to automate payments for the 44-day LRSG payment (covering 16 Feb to 31 March) this week. We have identified 1,851 businesses that should be eligible for the grants, with a total of over £4.5million to be paid out.
1,377 of these businesses will be paid this week totalling £3.3million in grant payments with money expected in business bank accounts before the end of the week. Some applications may require further processing and so may take longer to be paid.
All businesses due to receive a payment will receive a remittance email from us confirming the amount to be paid and expected payment date.
Further to last week’s budget announce about the Restart Grants and other additional finance support packages, we are awaiting guidance from Government. We will share another update as soon as we hear more about these schemes and have a process in place.
