Shaping the Future: National conference in Plymouth to report on Student Engagement in Knowledge Exchange

Date

As part of the Engaging Students in Knowledge Exchange project at the University of Plymouth, The Bridge team are running a national conference on Shaping the Future of Student Engagement in Knowledge Exchange. Universities from across the country are set to gather in Plymouth in May for this first-of-its-kind conference that will focus upon the impact that ‘knowledge exchange’ activities can have upon degree education and the student experience.

The conference will bring together the 20 universities that received funding from the Office for Students and Research England to explore the impact of student involvement in knowledge exchange. The programme includes a number of keynote speakers from the funders, from other higher education institutions across the UK and from projects in Plymouth, including the iMayflower Innovative Placements Scheme. As part of the presentations during the day, Gareth Hart from Plymouth Social Enterprise Network and Sarah Holcombe from the University of Plymouth, will be speaking about the Universities Virtual Internship Scheme and ‘Knowledge Exchange with Business Networks’.
