Back in June, the Marine Tech Expo 2018 took place at the University of Plymouth who hosted its most successful event yet. Over 200 attendees from local, national and international locations participated in an event which saw 26 companies and organisations exhibit, over 30 speakers present and be involved in some key panel discussions surrounding the topics of Marine Platforms, Marine Applications and Data, Cyber and Sensors.
For those that stayed on into the evening a boat tour of the sound allowed some networking over some drinks. The next day saw the Oceansgate development open its doors to showcase phase 1 of its new office and warehouse space and displaying phase 2 and 3. Also some of our local companies and exhibitors demonstrated their marine offering at Turnchapel Wharf.
