Eligible businesses can now access a fully funded one to one advice session with an external Business Adviser through the Growth Hub. The service provides you with an opportunity to speak to an expert adviser about your business and growth ambitions.
Following your 1 to 1 session you will be provided with a support plan detailing practical steps to move your plans forward.
Support is currently available for businesses in the Heart of the South West LEP area; Devon, Plymouth, Somerset and Torbay (excluding North Somerset and BANES) in the following sectors.
- Agriculture and fisheries
- Farm diversification
- Food processing
- Tourism
- Retail
- Care sector and services such as childcare and nursing homes
- Social Enterprises
Sectors where other funded business support services are currently available such as manufacturing and export are ineligible for this service.
Newly started businesses must already be registered with Companies House or HMRC and have clear plans for how they will grow their business.
A business should be looking to create jobs or increase turnover over the next 12 months (as a guide, businesses that are looking to create a minimum of 1 job or increase turnover by £10,000 over the next 12 months AND sustain existing jobs will take priority).
