Plymouth City Council has been shortlisted for an award by the Local Government Chronicle (LGC) in recognition of our public/private partnership as part of the Resurgam - COVID-19 Economic Recovery Programme.
The shortlist was announced on 27 July.
The announcement of being shortlisted in the Partnership award category is testament to the development, collaboration and co-design of the programme between Plymouth City Council and economic stakeholders in the private sector.
Whilst first delivered as an emergency business response; the sector led approach has galvanised the Plymouth business community, who have come together behind actions and recovery planning, that aims to build back a fairer and greener way.
The next stage of the award process is a Judging Day to be held in September with the Award Ceremony being held in November.
