Launched for the first time at CompTIA’s EMEA conference at the Park Plaza Hotel on 1st October. The ‘Apprenticeship Champion’ award was presented to BluescreenIT for their creative marketing contribution to the industry recognised #CertifiedApprentice national apprenticeship campaign, which received over 60,000 social media views. A surprising feat for the locally based business to come out on top against some of the country’s biggest London based international IT training providers involved. The award winning contribution was chosen for BluescreenIT’s series of videos created, highlighting local apprentices that had pushed themselves to achieve CompTIA’s international acclaimed accreditations as part of their apprenticeship programme.
Mike Dieroff, CEO of BluescreenIT, said: “It is a fantastic achievement to gain our first national award this year and a key marketing piece for us to raise awareness of the work the team put in to developing the next generation of digital professionals. The team really did have a lot of fun putting the videos together to showcase the individual successes of achieving their international accreditations. It also shows what can be done creatively to achieve success against the national big players even with limited budgets”
BluescreenIT success continues as they step into November as finalists in two regional awards which include the Western Morning News Business Awards and Tech South West Awards. Both recognise the company’s contribution to diversity and the approach to using apprenticeship to not only improve business performance, but helping to grow the IT and Cyber skills pool in the wider community.
