University of Plymouth Virtual Internships digital accreditation has been highlighted as Badge Nation's "Badge of the month" for February, recognising how digital badges have been deployed to add value to the knowledge exchange activity students and graduates regularly get involved with.
Since 2020, the team at The Bridge have been using digital badges to acknowledge the achievements of University of Plymouth students and graduates within the iMayflower Virtual Internship Scheme. These badges have helped to recognise attributes that employers are looking for post-pandemic, such as creativity, adaptability and the skills needed to work remotely.
This activity is part of the iMayflower project and has been supported by The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, who fund the Cultural Development Fund, which is administered by Arts Council England.
