Since opening applications for the Restart Grant on Monday 12 April we have received over 1,000 applications. 472 of these applications have been approved.
We’ve paid out £1.2million so far to businesses, and have a further payment of £1.5million being made this week. We aim to process payments within 2 weeks of application.
The Restart grants are available for rate-paying businesses who were trading on 1 April 2021 in the non-essential retail, hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care or gym sectors. Applications will close on 30 June 2021.
